A great classic French restaurant Amazing fresh seafood, amazing pasta truffles, the chicken is a full one, great desserts and wine by the glass

Maison Close is definitely a unique dining experience. We had reservations for 12pm and were seated promptly when they opened. The three of us each got filet mignon and shared a beef tartare. Both dishes were yummy and the filet mignon with fries was filling. My friend and I shared a bottle of champagne for mimosas. Our server was attentive and friendly. Eventually we had to leave our table since they had other reservations and we found out that the show starts around 3:30pm so I highly recommend making a late reservation when you go. We stood by the bar until the show. The burlesque show was pretty short, but cool. Maison Close is a great place to celebrate something or if you want to splurge for a meal.

I came here for a birthday dinner at 10. Immediately upon entering the spot was super vibey. People were super dressed up and the spot was really packed. There was loud music and it seemed like overall a great time. However, the host had told us all to rise within 15 minutes otherwise our table might be given away. We were not seated until 30 minutes into our reservation, which we paid $3k to reserve. The standing area was also super packed. I felt like I was really in the way and was overall not a great time. That being said once we were seated things were much better. We ordered a lot of different appetizers and entrées. I would say the orders include the foie gras, escargot, and oysters for the apps. For the main, I was a big fan of the steaks. Later on in the night, the spot turns into a burlesque show. These shows were definitely really interesting and nothing like the burlesque shows I've seen so far. For example, one of them was giving spring break vibes where the people came out in lingerie and facemasks. Also anytime anyone orders a bottle the bar service is super crazy and funny. Overall, even though the service wasn't great to start my friends and I ended up having a really good time. I think this is definitely a good spot for a birthday dinner.

Finally made it for Sunday brunch & I will definitely be back! Definitely giving back in the day bagatelle vibes! The food was amazing! Everything we had was great so definitely worth the price! The truffle pasta for $84 was definitely worth it! I would go back just to eat. Overall pricey but worth it.

The food was really good. To start, we had half a dozen oysters which were spot on. The sauce was amazing. I wish the oysters were a bit bigger, but I'm from the south so I'm a little spoiled when it comes to Oysters. We also had the truffle fries which were phenomenal. For the main, I had the lamb and my friend had the chicken. We ordered a side of mashed potatoes. The lamb was some of the best lamb I've ever had. The chicken was a little dry, but still good. If you have a choice between the two definitely go with the lamb! Our service was really good, probably because we were two girls but the tables around us had a lack of urgency when it came to service. Our server was hilarious and had great recommendations. You have to place your full food order at once. If you go at around 10, they have dancers and after the place turns into a bar! Overall really fun!

Okay so I'm giving this place a 4/5 because although the EXCELLED at service and ambiance... the food was sooooo subpar, especially when you're considering the cost. Service... I mean have you ever seen your male waiter dancing on a chair as if they're stilts? IMPECCABLE. Ambiance... okay, if you walk in before 4pm and wonder if you're in the right place... you are. Order drinks, give it a minute, and next time, come at 3pm. Food... good lord, the lobster HAD to have been frozen for who knows how long. I was so disappointed bc I really wanted to love it. The fries were FINE. The tartine d'avocat, aka Avocado toast was delicious per my friend... but I mean... it's hard to mess up avocado toast. Overall, absolutely would go back, maybe try some different food... or maybe just for drinks and an amazing show.
